In today's episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I show a build that perfectly demonstrates why I value mixed damage runs so highly! In one of my recent videos, I had some commenters confused why I built physical items on a Frost skull run. Well, that's a perfectly valid way to build a run. Mixed damage is, undoubtedly, one of the most underrated ways to build a run. Opening your mind to the reality of Skul that you are not nearly as limitted with your run building as you think you are. I've seen plenty of examples of someone seeing a bunch of physical items while playing their magic skull and getting frustrated that the game isn't giving you the luck you need, but in reality, that's just a make lemonade out of lemons situation. The especially good way to build a mixed damage build is with crit items, which is what we'll do here, but there's plenty of ways to go about it. Essentially, the trick is to have item effects that deal damage reliably. So, with that said, we'll be playing a crit items build heavily utilizing magic dealing items, with two physical skulls, Monkey and Ent!
