In today's episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Swordsman skull, but with a bit of a twist! In the Skul Custom Items mod pack, there's an item called Pandora's Box, based around the same item from Slay the Spire. This item takes all of your items, breaks and replaces them with an item one rartity above them (except Omens and Legendaries, which it replaces with items from their own rarities), and gives you 500 gold for each item it destroys. This is one of the most flamboyant items in both regular and modded Skul, and is a lot of fun to use. However, is it GOOD to use? Well...it depends...highly. If you have a lot of Uniques and Rares it can give you some hard to get items, in which a lot of powerful items exist, and the money gotten is good! However, if you know a lot about building runs you often find yourself taking your hard built run and taking all of your synergistic items and exchanging them for random stuff. It's definitely a highly situational item, but whenever you see an opportunity, why not take a chance? That's what we do here! Will it be my saving grace, or my doom?
