Megaman Battle Network 2 | Part 7: A Troubling Day in Netopia
Lan and Mega are getting a needed vacation. Unfortunately that's where things go majorly downhill. Welcome to Part 7.
The two head for the airport only to encounter trouble. First, his PET gets taken away due to security reasons. Second, his money gets stolen. Chaud was nice enough to hand Lan his PET but that's the least of his problems. He does get his money back though.
Later on he meets some strange dude who gives him a ride, only to jack Lan of his battlechips. All of this, coupled with constant arguing between the two boys force Lan to walk off in anger. But after a talk with Higsby, he realizes his own error and tries to make up with Mega Man. But that's when Mega tells him that he was injected with a virus. Thankfully it's no biggie but now the message is clear. Lan has to regain what he lost.
To do that, he needs to seek some aid. First from Raoul, the leader of a clan of people that want what is good for Electopia. He is the operation of a Navi named Thunderman.EXE. Eventually he learns that all the battlechips stolen were sold by a woman named Mrs. Millions, a rich woman from Electopia. She has the Navi, Snakeman. We beat her, get our battlechips back and everything's good.
Except it isn't. Our work isn't done. Part 8 will have us deal with Gospel... and a traitor within our ranks.
