Final Fantasy I | Part 5: The Trial of Courage
Two fiends are down for the count but our work isn't finished yet.
In order for us to deal with the next two fiends, we need to take part in a trial of courage. Not only that but with the airship, we can be able to reach the Dragon's Den where dragons are abound. It's King, Bahamut wants us to find a proof of courage. We do that... after going through an abandoned castle to do it. We get our hands on a rat's tail.
The rat's tail is proof of courage. Bahamut sees it as true courage and uses his power to evolve our party into advanced classes. The Warrior becomes a Knight. The Thief transforms into a Ninja. The Monk becomes the Master. As for the White Mage, Black Mage and Red Mage, they become their respective Wizard form. The White and Black Wizard gets access to Level 7 and 8 magic while the Red Wizard can only go to Level 7. Plus the Knight gets access of up to Level 3 White Magic and the Ninja, up to Level 4 Black Magic.
This adds a lot of versatility if you want your party to come up with crazy setups. Part 6 will have us use this newfound power to take down the fiend of water, Kraken.
