Megaman Battle Network 2 | Part 8: Stop the Traitorous Princess
With everything regained, things can continue.
The NetBattlers' meeting commences. Lan and Chaud meet with NetBattlers from all parts of the world. This includes a girl who goes by the name of Pride. But just as things within the meeting go well, Gospel strikes. They strike and it causes the NetBattlers to separate. Now Lan along with Megaman needs to find the others. But as they do, they all go down... save for one. That one is Chaud.
It doesn't take long before Lan and Chaud butt heads. Yep. You face off against Chaud's Navi Protoman.EXE. But he has some new attacks and it's recommended that you save before facing him. After defeating Chaud, the two apologize over accusations of being a Gospel spy. Turns out the true spy was actually Pride, Princess of Creamland. She has her reasons for joining Gospel and she's doing it for the sake of her kingdom. Petty but it don't excuse her actions. She has her Navi, Knightman.EXE. KnightMan is a big target and if given the circumstances, you can bring the pain.
With Princess Pride defeated and everyone saved, our work in Netopia is done. Time for a plane ride back home but some problems ensue.
Part 9 is when things go from bad to worse.
