Final Fantasy I | Part 6: Purge the Shrine of the Water Fiend Kraken
Our party has gotten much stronger and now they are ready to tackle what lies ahead. This takes us to the Sunken Shrine.
The Sunken Shrine is home to the fiend of water, Kraken. It's also home to mermaids and they say that unless Kraken is dealt with, they will turn to foam and die. That's a scary way to die honestly. But hey, we can't let that happen. Make sure you also get your hands on the Giant's Gloves. Why? Because the Giant's Gloves cast Saber when used. If you have a Knight, Master and/or Ninja, it can be beneficial to deal major damage. Combined with Haste & Temper can lead to some serious damage.
The Kraken isn't hard. The strategy still applies with you having to buff your party then go on the offensive. Adding the Giant's Gloves will make this trivial.
Part 7 will have us heading for the Flying Fortress and Tiamat.
