The start of a series of videos on building a model railway layout.
The design is made with SCARM.
Our criteria for the design were:
- Room size: 4040 x 3700 mm
- Track: Peco OO 75
- Minimum radius: 1200 mm (a design choice, tighter is possibble)
- We’re no scenery experts
- We like lots of track with lots of trains
- It doesn’t have to resemble real world
- We want to be able drive around
- We want to be able to drive point to point
- A viaduct enables extra track length in the same amount of space
