Yes, you read that correctly: 62 cards in Modern Infect. What gives? Well, There's a mill player, and all of my fetchlands get a creature in Dryad Arbor, so I wanted to try something new out. If I were making cuts, then I would drop either Peek, as I think that I have something of a read on my meta, but they serve to give information while replacing themselves, or a couple of fetchlands, since 22 lands is really high for Modern Infect. (It makes sense with the greater land count, however.)

As a once-frequent player of Death & Taxes in Legacy, it's good to see the mono white hatebears deck again in Modern, bolstered by the utility and size of Solitude, the most prominent of the MH2 evoke elementals. Of note, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben does not tax Solitude, since the latter is a creature spell. This gets around the issue that removal like Path to Exile has always had, i.e. a necessary evil, a concession to matchups where removal is needed. (Path to Exile in particular is anti-synergistic with Thalia, as it gives them a land, though it does play well with Leonin Arbiter.)

Here's the decklist that I was running at the time:
Creatures (13)
4 Blighted Agent
4 Glistener Elf
4 Noble Hierarch
1 Spellskite
Instants (19)
2 Become Immense
