Monoprice Michief Mixer not picking up Mic Part 3
This is the third time this equipment doesn't seem to be working for me entirely.
Essentially, I bought this equipment just over a month ago in order to try to raise the quality of my vocals in any let's play, commentary or review type videos I produce. I spent about 200$ on everything (Quality headset, XLR noise reduction microphone, XLR cable, Mixer to be able to actually connect and capture audio from said microphone, microphone stand to not have to hold said microphone like an idjit.)
Monoprice has been great. I know they operate on low margins so I can tolerate the shipping times to return/exchange items under warranty. Their staff have been courteous enough to even send a second microphone without requiring me to return the first after having sent in the mixer and gotten another back.
So long story short:
I worked with their tech support team, creating a video to highlight the issues I was having https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UolSR6IY5ps
They needed a bit more info so I created a second to highlight the issue:

Essentially the Mixer wasn't picking up any sound at all from any line in sources or from the microphone.
Okay, so Monoprice sends me the Packing slips to ship it back to them via UPS. I pack it up and send it and weeks later I get a new mixer.
Looking forward to having my mixer's triumphant return I record an unboxing and test run. It works with the line in feature perfectly.
However it does not pick up the microphone still. I upload the video and show it to their tech team as well. They subsequently just send me a replacement microphone.

So now we have my video here.
Again, unboxing with some fails and some further testing.
Is it the cable? I know my headset works fine. The mixer doesn't pick up audio from the microphone but works fine with line-in as per the last linked video above.
It's analog, so it should typically work regardless of what is thrown at it with at worst a lot of static or feedback if something is wrong. All knobs for levels and frequencies are set to the middle.
