MORE ROCKET LEAGUE BLUEPRINT NEWS! All You Need To Know In Less Than 3 Minutes
141In this video, I discuss the new news that psyonix just announced about rocket league's new blueprints system. We already know that rocket league crates would be removed soon and they would be replaced with blueprints. I made a video about the original blueprint news a while ago but a ton more news about the blueprints in rocket league was announced today. The update will be coming this December as we already knew so we're only about a month away from this blueprint update.
The first interesting thing psyonix announced in the article was that crates will turn into unrevealed blueprints and drops after games will be revealed blueprints. Unrevealed blueprints can be converted into revealed blueprints for free at no cost. The unrevealed blueprints will not be tradable because Epic Games doesn't want any sort of luck or gambling aspect in the items system and psyonix and rocket league is now part of Epic Games. This is the first big change they're making to the game. Later, in the article, they talk about trading and what items will and won't be eligible for it. This portion is mostly good news in my opinion because any items that can be traded now will continue to be tradable later on. Another interesting thing that surprised me was that credits will also be tradable. You just won't be able to trade them for nothing. The other person has to trade something in return. Also, there will be a new item shop coming to rocket league as we already knew and the items you purchase will not be tradable so they will be forever locked on your account once you purchase them.
Another topic they discussed in the article something completely new called bonus gifts. Bonus gifts are what decryptors with be replaced with. Decryptors are only used to open crates so without crates they would be useless. Therefore they will turn them into bonus gifts after the update. Bonus gifts can be opened for free and will give you an item from the vindicator crate or a popular fan favorite item from the first blueprint series called the "Revival Series". We don't know much about the "Revival Series" other than that they will be telling us more about it as we get closer to the update so we could expect more information on it in probably about a month or less.
Lastly, they talked about trade-ins and trade-ups. The main biggest change for this is that you will still be able to trade up items from drops after games but you won't be able to trade items from crates so you better get those trade-ups done before it's too late. After this update, you won't be able to trade up crate items to a higher tier. However, luckily, we will still be able to trade up to things like the white octane.
