I'm going to make a BOLD statement, but I truly believe that the Savage Alliance Slayers are the BEST Epic PVP group in the world! I'm confident in a full 40v40 Epic Battleground, we can stomp any of the competition that comes our way. We do not bring the spec, the meta, the class, we bring the PLAYER. We tell people to play whatever they have FUN playing in the Battleground. The other teams can stack their teams however they want, tell their Warlocks that they are "in the wrong spec" even though it's probably just talent choices they want their Warlocks to have, i.e. Shadow Rift is available to ALL Warlock specializations :)
The initial team fight when they were leaving the Panther cave, did they really think they were gonna roll right into us and wreck us? Some of their team looked like they were leaving the Panther cave to head north through the woods, while Yoggy was leading the rest of them to the Crossroads area, where we were already waiting and pushing into them even though they had the high ground! We lost 0 players in the opening team fight, then headed to the Ring of Conquest to get the Ancient Artifact FOR THE HORDE!
Obviously I had to issue some Raid Warnings so that our pumper GVZ or PLUM would get it, sorry about that Hunter LoL! Normally it would have been OK for a Hunter to have it, but I've yet to see what GVZ could do with the AA, so that was the call that was made, and boy did GVZ not disappoint. The ALLY try to come back to the Ring of Conquest and they literally just melted for a second a time, I don't think we lost a single person in the second team fight either! As Plumcrazy would say "BOY GOT REKT!"
We proceeded to kill the rest of the Ogres so we could Summon Kronus. Now normally, Kronus is not really anything more than a distraction against a premade team, because usually a premade team will have more than enough DPS to kill Kronus by kiting off to odd places as well as having the Gladiators wailing on Kronus as well. So when we get to the 4th Flag, I noticed Yoggy was sitting at their Mage Tower, totally out of stealth? How smart is that for a leader to be sitting there out of stealth so anyone can target you and know where your entire team is at? Not very good strategy, so you may want to work on that Mr. Yoggy.
Soon as the 4th Flag caps, we let Kronus go left, while we all go right and across the bridge to the 5th Flag. Well, the ALLY thought it was a good time for a stampede toy, so I wait for the peak of the stampede and hit my Glider and fly close to their Mage Tower to see what they have in there. Now what did I see? Well you've seen the thumbnail, their entire team was basically sitting up there with their Mage Rylai!
Well, Greenbeans had an entire plan ready for them in that situation, I didn't even notice the Demonic Circle on the ground and a few seconds after I landed on the ground, I noticed almost their entire team got Shadow Rifted outside into a perfect stack. I think you know what happened there, AOE stuns going off and massive massive AOE damage going off and almost their entire team got decimated in seconds! This entire sequence right here was nothing short than a WORK OF PURE ART! It was insane to watch it happen!
From there, we cap the 5th Flag and head into their base to kill the Grand Marshall Tremblade. Me & Bengalcat took out their turn in NPC, Anenga for the second time, but they probably did not have any Fragments to turn in anyways. By the time we got back to the team fight, Tremblade was already 55%, so we just all zerged the Grand Marshall, there was no way they were gonna heal Tremblade through that, while they were also dealing with Kronus in their base too!
The fact is, when S.A.S. has the numbers, there's no a premade out there that can beat us. Some people may say "oh, we've beat S.A.S.", sure, the sun can shine on a dog's butt at least once a day too. Blizzard doesn't always give us enough people in the match, so you might beat S.A.S. when we have 5-15 players, or we got stuck with only 1 or 2 Healers and you have 10 from Blizzard's horrible matchmaking. But the real story is, you find 40, and we'll bring our random 40 members and let the better team win! So how about it Mr. Yoggy? Do you accept the 40v40 challenge to a War Game? The ball is in your court!
