Mr Driller (Dreamcast)
32This is a really fun arcade puzzler from Namco. "The project that would become Mr. Driller was originally intended to be a third game in the Dig Dug series, under the working title of Dig Dug 3" (Wikipedia).
This particular game that exists on the Dreamcast (published in 2000) is the original Mr Driller. It was first released on the arcade systems Namco System 10 and Namco System 12, but was later ported to PC, Dreamcast, Game Boy Color and Playstation. It was also released on the WonderSwan.
Mr Driller went on to become a small success and several sequels was produced for systems like Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and iOS.
What can we say? It's easy to learn and fun to play. Great music too. If you like puzzle games, seek this one out or any of its sequels.
