Mr. Robot and His Robot Factory for the Atari 8-bit family
Came also out for:
Apple II
Commodore 64
FM-7
PC-88
Game description:
You are in control of a robot and have to guide him through 22 platform levels using ladders, treadmills, trampolines, escalators, magnets, transporters and other devices. You must collect all the power-pills in one level in order to finish it, but you have only limited time to do so as you are constantly losing energy. Falling from too high or touching an enemy kills your robot. Picking up energizers temporarily enables you to kill your enemies. The game also features an editor that lets you create your own levels.
What I think:
Having played the Apple II version of this, I honestly have to admit that I am disappointed with the Atari 8-bit version.
Don't get me wrong, it is still a really fun game. But while the Apple II version had a lot of sound, the Atari 8-bit version has barely any sound at all.....and the Atari 8-bit systems are more powerful than the Apple II ...
