Test Results:

3dmark11 Benchmark Result: 9778
Idle Temperature for CPU: 41 to 43 C or 105.8 to 109.4 F
Load Temperature for CPU: 41 to 44 C or 105.8 to 111.2 F

Idle GPU Temperature: 32 to 33 C or 89.6 to 91.4 F
Load CPU Temperature: 48 to 50 C or 118.4 to 122 F

The CPU temperature did not go up much due to the fact that the GPU was very powerful compared to the CPU. In other words, the GPU did most of the graphics processing and rendering. I did this test to see if it was worth putting in the latest graphics card in a processor which is 5 years old. Looks like it paid off, I can add a few more years of life to my outdated Intel I7-960. If you compare this processor to something like a I7-4970, the I7-4970 is about 50% faster in terms of CPU performance. If you want good 3d performance, the GPU makes the real difference. That is why a good GPU costs so much money.
