After successfully recovering the pair of LK-0 Prototype Mini Landers, the POS-1 core module winds down from cismunar operations and awaits the arrival of the POS-3 Munar Orbital Laboratory, which will offload and study all scientific instruments and samples obtained by the landers and orbital survey efforts.
The POS-3 is a massive monolithic 34-ton module built around a Mobile Processing Lab module, an accomodations section, and an engineering support station (cupola with windows blocked off). Once the POS-3 is fully staffed, its remaining fuel will be transferred to POS-1 which will ferry the two landers to Minmus in the next episode.
