The Ares CCRV is inspired by NASA's Constellation Program, utilizing an SRB-derived launch vehicle to send a crewed spacecraft into orbit.

This SRB launcher flown in Kerbal Space Program features an array of 3 Kickback giant SRBs as its first stage, with enough thrust to send a 2.5m upper stage and crewed capsule into space.

This design is not intended to reach orbit - it is a sub-orbital tourist vehicle to fulfill sightseeing from space contracts available at Level 2 career tech.
