Mutated Virus (App Lab) - Oculus Quest 2 Gameplay
0Where to start with this game, the pros…
*This game looks amazing, graphically it’s one of the more realistic looking shooters I’ve played.
*The sound effects of the thunder, rain drops, the screaming of the zombie is so good and the placement of the sound is used so well, for example you can hear a zombie screaming from a distance in your left ear as it gets closer you’ll hear it louder and when it’s on you you’ll hear it in both ears. Very smart and very effective use of the oculus speakers.
Now for the cons..
*So I played this for about an hour and honestly I think that’s more than enough and I probably won’t have to play it again. It’s just so repetitive
*the aim on the guns are waaaaay off and the auto reloading is dreadful to the point where the mag picks and chooses when to enter the gun not when you actually press the reload button 🙄
*While speaking of the guns, there are about
10-15 styles of guns from machine guns, hand guns , shotguns etc they all look different but shoot exactly the same. Kinda makes having a decent gun pointless..
*Small levels that look big but half of it you can’t walk on it’s just for effect.
*With No multiplayer, no actual storyline, no online leader boards to compete with your scores, it’s just repetitive play that offers no reward 🤷🏼♂️
