How's it going everyone, in this special request RPG Maker MV tutorial I'll show you how to quickly and easily setup and use your Item Category plugin from Yanfly Engine Plugins(YEP). Simple download the plugin from the link below, place it into your game/js/plugins folder, open your plugin manager and add YEP_X_ItemCategories below YEP_CoreEngine and YEP_ItemCore. Those are the only two plugins that are needed as far as I can tell, but this plugin works will almost every plugin out there unless it directly changes the item menu scene. So there could be some incompatibilities if you're using plugins that already change the way your item scene is being displayed. Modify the top plugin parameter to include Category:Name, (change Name to the name you want your category to be). Add the note tag Menu Category: Name to the item's notebox to make it appear.
