When I get the warning I stop moving and order my lance about 500M away in any direction. When the dropship lands the enemy will almost always target the group and start firing at them. I simply stroll up behind them and shoot them in the back. All of them die before realizing I was the threat.

If they fire on me first I do not return fire, I run away on a diagonal. My lance will fire on them and if they dont I order them to as I run. When they turn to deal with my lance I shoot them all in the back. I usually take very little damage as they will turn away after a few hits from the lance.

This will work well with high dps close range builds like srm, flamer and machine gun boats. I kill them as easily in a Flamer Firestarter with this method.

If you take too long to kill them you'll be stuck close range with some very pissed off mercs so get it done fast. You need speed, mobility and high dps.
