MY ACCENT SO BAD I NEED SUBTITLE

The main font that I have used for the past few years is "Snowstorm bold". It is a free font that you can download. The font used in this video is "Buran USSR" which is also a free font.
Previously I used a full white fill colour for the font but on this video the text is HEX code: FFFCEB. This is a slightly yellow colour that is easier to read and causes less strain on the eyes.
There is much more that goes into making the subtitles that i clearly could not fit in the video. For example the placing of the text of the subtitles has to be times accurately when there is a lot of words being spoken in a row.
I used to try and put subtitles on two lines but that looked bad. So now I only use one line of text always.
There is a lot of style elements also that go into making the subtitles the way that they are. For example I only always us an ellipsis with tho periods (..) instead of three which is the usual (...)
I always try to place no more than 6 words on one line because it could get hard to read. I never use periods on the ends of lines. When using a foreign language when speaking, I usually mark it in subtitles with a different colour so that the reader does not get confused. This way the viewer can go and look up the word online.
The size of subtitles has changed considerably over the years. It started as a very big size (how to slav your car) and then dropped to a very small size (cheburek video).
Subtitles are also a nice way to add small easter eggs into videos. Not everyone reads subtitles so not everyone sees them.
Just to clarify, subtitles that I add on videos are not the same as YouTube CC. CC means closed captions. Closed captions are "closed" when video starts, meaning they are invisible. "Opening" the captions means making them visible for the duration of the video.
Most channels that have clear speaking people, have automatic CC that is actually pretty accurate.
CC on my channel has to be manually input because since my accent is so bad, YouTube recognises me as speaking Russian. So it tries to understand what I'm saying in Russian. But I'm not speaking Russian.
