Today I finally come across my first boss in our blind playthrough of Dark Souls 2. The first thing we do is finally figure out how to level up and upgrade our estus. We explore the Forest of Fallen Giants some more and die A LOT before frustration takes us back to Heide's Tower of Flame. I quickly give up that idea though and head back to the forest where we finally conquer the area, come across our first battle and beat him in only 2 attempts.
