Detailed Review (this review comes from my first 2 matches):

First of all, the game is really well made. Althought It's in early access, we didn't encounter any bugs except a few visual ones.

The graphics are great. From monster models to weapon models and map design, everything looks awesome. The sounds and the general atmosphere is really immersive. Crytek really did a great job of reflecting the historical timeline and the Louisiana swamps type of style.

The main problem for me was the multiplayer aspect because lets face it, PvE in the game is very easy. You can easly cheese the bosses. What makes the whole experience enjoyable is the PvP but after 2 matches (both are about 40 minutes long) we didn't encounter a single enemy player.

I know we were in trainee mode and facing other newbies, but I can't see the reason for it when there is a system which you can't lose your character when you die till you reach level 15 anyway. I think It gives new players a false sense of the game and It's just made so that more casual players are not crushed in the beginning and discouraged to play more.

Even tho if we pass the trainee mode. I don't want to run around for 40 minutes just to encounter a few other teams. The PvE is not enjoyable or challanging enough to justify that kind of gameplay style.

My other main issue with the game is that the game heavily rewards camping and I REALLY HATE THAT DESIGN DESICION. You will always be in disadvantage if you engage the boss first. The game heavily encourages camping and ambushing other players and stealing their loot which is extremely boring. I don't want to decide if I want to have fun or win by camping. The fact that you can shoot thru inbetween wooden boards is really not helping either. It discourages players to approach a building when you can get shot from hundreds of different locations from inside the building.

This is just my opinion. The game is just not what I was looking for from a competitive experience so we decided to refund it but I can definetly see why would someone really enjoy the game.
