The very first game for the NEO GEO cabinet (but doesn't have the familiar boot up jingle). This is very much like CABAL (made 2 years prior by the TAD Corporation) in which you move left and right, facing enemies in the background, and must stop to aim your crosshairs at them to fire or huck a grenade. Destroying enemies or sometimes background objects often yields extra weapons (flamethrowers, machine guns or extra grenades) or bonus points and on occasion extra lives.. but you must go pick them up, and they'll disappear soon. Save the grenades for the big vehicles or bosses. Odd that this takes place in 1975, after America had already pulled its forces out of Vietnam. The basic plot involves a professor being kidnapped (along with his daughter) to create some sort of destructive bomb.. but things are not exactly what they seem. Elements of various Vietnam War movies are stolen for this game (like Animal Mother yelling and shooting from Full Metal Jacket, along with the female Vietnamese sniper). For the very first NEO GEO game it could be a lot worse. Not entirely my cup of tea but very tough and commands your attention. Suggested by YouTube user Charlie Cat.
