Thanks for watching my 800th video! Just for the hell of it, we flashback to the year 1983 and check out the A-Team, He-Man, the Moonwalk, McNuggets, Tokyo Disneyland, and all sorts of other 1983 tidbits! Oh, and we also look at a cool Japan-only puzzle game called Phozon. You control a sphere in a microscopic sub-world trying to collect particles to form a specific shape. A DNA-type creature roves about the playfield and will kill you if it touches your sphere-- BUT if your particles are spinning you can turn the tables on the creature and destroy its particles (it'll reform shortly). You must catch the floating particles at the right place or you'll need to press the EJECT button to release them. On occasion the DNA creature will split apart and its pieces will scatter, or it may fire at you and break off your painstakingly-collected particles! Every 3rd level a bonus stage is played where your EJECT button now fires projectiles at the DNA creature, blasting it into nothingness. Take out 4 of them and you get a bonus; get touched once and the stage ends. Run out of particles to pick up and a level will repeat! Interesting game only released in Japan arcades, but did see US release on the Namco Museum series. Thanks for watching both Phozon and my 1983 tribute! Hope to see you again for number 900!
