Lovely vertically-scrolling shooter with an INSANE propensity for high-scoring!!! You can score in the TRILLIONS! Maybe higher! This is due to the collection of various medals that you can get from many defeated enemies-- these multiply certain facets of your score when you beat a level. You can choose between 4 fighters to take to the skies, or play 2-player simultaneous play. You don't have to bash the buttons to fire rapidly-- just a press every second should suffice. Holding down (charging) a shot will fill up a meter, and when filled and the button is released, you can reflect many enemy shots and turn them into shield-like medals. Also, you have the typical bomb stock in your inventory (3). Option fighters to your left and right (which fire when you fire) may be moved to your front, sides or behind you. You can only get a couple power-ups or so (a "P" icon is released by some enemies) but the firepower is still pretty impressive. This certain qualifies as "bullet hell" or "manic shooter" at times; fortunately the hit detection is very forgiving. The story centers around an evil medallion (the game misspells it as "medalion") that your character is intent on destroying. NOTE: If you spend a continue you CANNOT get to the final level and get a good ending. You will instead sacrifice yourself to destroy the medallion. If you DO get to the final level and destroy the medallion, you will get a GOOD ending. Lovely anime-style cut scenes are featured (mostly) at the end of a stage and before some bosses. Good shoot-em-up with lovely graphics and an interesting storyline. Suggested by YouTube user Joey Ford.
