Name That Tune (arcade) gameplay
6Four games of Name That Tune's arcade version. This is based on Jim Lange's series and has all the rounds but Melody Roulette. I think it would've been interesting to add the MR round, with timing your button presses to try to stop the wheel on $500+Double. Some improvements have been made to the MAME sound emulation for the Sente board (this was played on 0.225).
A certain amount of points is needed to reach Golden Medley. The possible settings are 15.000, 18.000 (the default), or 21.000 (Good luck!). You can disable the minimum score so the high scorer will always play the bonus round.

Fox has started up a new version of Name That Tune with Jane Krakowski featuring a live band with Randy Jackson (Journey's bass guitarist, who plays keyboard here). The tunes on the 2021 revival are mostly from the 1970s to the present. There are different versions of the Tune Topics game such as Title Track, By Request, On Shuffle, and Spin Me Round. Bid-A-Note is back (you have to have it, or it's not Name That Tune) along with the $100.000 Golden Medley. On the Bid-A-Note round, I don't think the audience should cheer after every bid... they should save that for a low bid of 1 or 2 notes, or it loses some of its impact. GM works like the Jim Lange version, except a correct guess is worth $10.000. Get all 7 and take home another $30.000.
