Nanosaur is a dinosaur-themed 3D shoot'em up where you control a velociraptor that has to rescue dinosaur eggs to send them to the future before an asteroid hits the Earth. It was developed and released for PowerPC Macs (classic MacOS 8.6 to 9.2.2 and MacOS X 10.0 and up) in 1998 by Pangea Software. Gameplay-wise it's pretty much just like Pangea's own Mighty Mike but in 3D.

The game used to be sold as shareware but was open sourced along with several other Pangea classics. Nowadays the best way to play Nanosaur is using Iliyas Jorio's source port for modern systems available here https://jorio.itch.io/nanosaur for Windows, macOS and Linux. Source code available https://github.com/jorio/Nanosaur

The classic MacOS versions of the game has been archived at the Macintosh Garden here https://macintoshgarden.org/games/nanosaur
