001:54:14 COMPLETING MINIGAME BLIND (Graphics Didnt Work)
Around 4 hours 16 minutes to beat. I lost an estimated 45 minutes of footage so the final time may be a little off. I was hoping this shitty game would end after the first set of minigames but it dragged on for a while. This is a very shitty collection of minigames which are required to be completed to beat the game.
The hacking minigame took me longer than it shouldve but I missed what the objective was, assumed I had to collect all the blue sparks when I only had to get to the exit.
The worst parts were a completely blind playthrough of one of the minigames and the bowling minigame. At the time stamp above you can see I beat the memory minigame with only a black screen and no visuals. There was a setting I had to change on the emulator but didnt get it fixed by this point. I did not know which letter corresponded to which button on the controller and I had to map them mentally from A to F. They werent logically mapped out and the Xbox contoller I was using had letters on the buttons which conflicted with the in game letters making it even more confusing to remember which letter corresponded to the in game letters. The voiceover was also confusing since I didnt always know when the sequence was being narrated and when it was speaking out my choices. I had to guess what was going on. Almost quit at that point. Later there was a bowling game where the power meter and scoreboard did not show up. The graphics were still messed up. This was a big issue since I could only do power shots randomly and had no idea what score I was trying to beat, what my score was. I did some trouble shooting by fucking with menu options (this was not included in the final play time) and found that I had to set the graphics to OpenGL instead of DirectX. This fixed the missing visuals.
If I really want the extra kill I can beat this game on DS too. Maybe in the future.
