I bring you the opening of what is hopefully a lengthy series of a monotype tournament that took place in the TPX chatroom the other day. Rules were pretty simple, All your pokemon had to be one type and you were allowed 1 wildcard. I quickly threw together some guys that I figured would work well together (not gonna lie, Weezing works well with most anything). If I could go back, I definitely would tinker with the team some, but a spurt of the moment tournament was really what I needed. 4th gen battles are becoming more and more scarce by the day.

Post match thoughts: That Gliscor actually scared the hell out of me once Weezing was gone. I was under the impression Empoleon was close to full, but Draco Meteor took off 1/3, so he definitely wasn't taking a STAB EQ well (if at all), and relying on Explosion on a predicted roost with Skuntank is walking on the wild side. phew!
