Alright, so in this episode I breach things and overkill things and we have some scary situations of almost death. I can't remember if I actually kind-of die in this episode or if it's the next, but I think it's a pretty cool mechanic that they use for it. Instead of just 'haha you have to restart from a checkpoint two hours ago' they just make it into hardmode. Although admittedly, if you got yourself killed in the first place, hardmode is the last thing you want.
But I really like this game so far. Hell, I'd go so far as to call it pleasant. The art style and graphics are pleasing to the eyes, the gameplay is smooth and easy to handle, the combat gives you a moment to breath when you are in turn. If you wanted, you could play so much of the game in stealth and charm all the processes to make them do all the work for you. It's great.
Okay, I don't know if a. anyone reads these, or b. anyone reads my tweets because they are pretty few and far between, but Jordan and I won't be able to stream for a little while. Maybe even for a month or so, but I'm hoping it's only a couple weeks. It really just depends on how things go that are relatively out of my control.
Our landlord gave us until Sept 31st to move out, which is actually less of an issue than it could have been as we had already started looking at houses to buy anyways and had literally already booked a showing two hours before we got that message from her. So, whatever, she is kind of rude and ridiculous and really this whole thing is a 'good riddance' moment. So now Jordan and I are going to be trying to figure out how to get going with everything, you know? Like, if we don't get approved for the mortgage, then we will have to find another place to rent and that could start to get hard as this is a university town and places fill up fast come September.
I really hope we get the house/place we are looking at though. It's cute, quaint, not too big and well within our budget and if we play out cards right it's an investment opportunity for us. And we could have an actual gaming room! Complete with gaming paraphernalia. And since it's our own house, we can hang pictures wherever we like. Included the GW2 characters poster I made for Jordan -you can see it on my instagram- and he's excited we'll finally be able to put that up. Also, POSTERS. And things!
So, you can pretty much already tell how much my heart is set on all of this. I really hope it all goes well. And that is why we can't stream for the next little while, all the time is going to be spent attempting to figure out how to get this all to work out. Then if it does, packing.
Oh, although we are definitely going to be playing GW2 BWE2 next weekend because... we'll have time for a break I'm sure. Working hard allll the other days
I guess the first thing to pack will be consoles and video games and my bookcase, things that we really don't use that often and can more than live without in the next month. I don't know why I'm telling you guys about my packing plan. I'm a weirdo :P
BUT THERE'S SO MUCH TO PLAN AND DO. And I'm just a teeny bit anxious about it all. I mean, I'm sure you can hardly tell...
