Nash butchers all the words in TRANSISTOR | Part 10
Heya everybody!
So the reason this episode is so long is because at the thirty minute mark I said my goodbyes and then decided to read the biographies for everyone that I had unlocked during the last couple of episodes, trying to carefully go through each one although knowing me I probably missed someone. But hey! It's all pretty cool and interesting to know. And if my voice and attempt at reading are grating then you could always mute me/ pause for those sections.
Oh! So good news, we were approved on our mortgage!!! Which means we are going to officially be owning a house and moving into it at the end of the month! Hell yeah gaming room. here we come! I can't even begin to detail how I feel about it all, my heart has been a fluttery mess.
Okay onto an entirely different train of thought because I like doing that. I'm pretty sure that when people lose debit cards, what is actually happening is a wormhole opens up and pulls the cards over into a pocket dimension where they live forever in debit card land, happy and carefree with their brethren. It's every debit cards dream to make it's way over to this strange land, so they will do everything in their ability to put themselves into situations for the wormhole to form and pull them through. They will purposefully perch precariously in places that are more edges than not, waiting to dive away into the blackness of beyond. If you stick them in the bottom of your purse, they slowly crawl out and fling themselves to a better place. If you stick them in your coat pocket, they tumble about until they've gained enough momentum to launch into infinity. It's just the way of the debit card.
But what about the ones that return, you ask? Well, the wormholes don't just send the debit cards to debit card land, they are also able to make return trips for cards that miss their owners. However, nearly every scenario where this happens is a bad fate for the cards, because who can trust a card who runs away? And so us humans, not realizing the sentience of our cards, will shred them and toss them, having already replaced them and the debit cards lay broken, having finally met their demise.
It's a sad story, I know.
Also, I know I'm a weirdo.
