Nash stumbles along in TRANSISTOR | Part 9
0You know when you say a word to many times and it stops seeming like a real word? Tragedy is doing that for me right now. I mean, I'm not sure that is how it's spelt but chrome's auto correct feature isn't saying I messed it up so I guess that must be right.
So, the Camerata were trying to change the city in a good way, but isn't that how many villains arise? "Oh, the world is all corrupt and awful and my way of thinking is so much better, I should viciously educate people why my way is best." And thus a villain is born. Of course, as they go along and maybe become a little power hungry there original ideals will warp, but at the center of it all is that tiny nugget of wanting the world to be better, however twisted their version of better is.
But now I'm not sure if the process were actually created by the Camerata and got out of control once they lost the Transistor, the one thing able to control them, or if the Process are actually some sort of swarm of aliens that the Camerata stumbled upon and realized they could do their bidding and the dirty work, and the Transistor again was the form of control that the Camerata lost. I mean, it's more likely to be the first option but I'd like to keep my theories crazy, you know? Just all over the place. Maybe secretly the process was an accident, Farrah or whoever the cloudpainter was was trying to make fluffy snow clouds and then she accidently dumped Chemical X into her paint bucket and then- wait, this sounds like the plot to something else, although slightly more nefarious.
NEFARIOUS I SAY.
Mwahahahhaha- wait, ehhumm, I didn't just laugh maniaclly, that was just a ... um... cough, you know? See? *cough cough* I've got this sort of cold and sometimes my coughs sound like supervillian laughs. It's a dreadful condition, the doctor's tell me it's called "malrisistitis" and I might just be the end of me, if one day I happen to be cough-laughing and then some poor half-rate superhero happens to hear me and can't distinguish the sound of coughing from a true super villain and decides to burst through the wall and murder me with all their soup can destroying abilities and at the end of it I'll just be a puddle on the ground, spaghettified an mashed in just a way that you can't quite tell if you are looking at my eyeball or a fragment of my toe. All quite gruesome really, and so dreadful that I am destined for such a fate. Unless! We can spread the news about malristitis and others like myself can be spared from such an awful demise! Think about it, with just a little awareness and propaganda you could easily save the live of some poor hapless victim such as myself, who I assure you is totally not a villain in any sense of the word, not even when I'm lying to convince people of things that don't really exist to further my nefarious schemes. Nosireee, I'm just your average girl tapping away at her keyboard trying to raise awareness for a debilitating condition.
