Natick Power Station Settlement Build
I was exploring the Western edge of the map in Fallout 4 a couple weeks ago, when I stumbled upon an unmarked location that was an almost completely intact power station just west of Natick Banks. After seeing some videos about the Conquests Mod & other mods that added additional settlement locations to the game, I decided to do a quick search on the Nexus to see if any turned this location into a settlement.
I ended up finding m0ds1984's Settlemods Collection that adds not only this location as a potential settlement, but 14 other optional settlement locations, many of which I thought should have been settlements to begin with, so I installed the mod (or at least the 8 settlements from it that I personally thought made the most sense) and got inspired about a week ago to really go to town on the Natick Power Station. Especially after I found another mod called Barn Additions that adds a lot of more or less vanilla building assets that, IMO should have been available for settlement building, but weren't included in the Snappy Housekits mod (such as pier components and pier shacks).
While building this settlement proved to be challenging and at times frustrating, I learned a LOT about settlement building in the process, and I really had fun building it. I hope you all enjoy this tour as much as I enjoyed making it.
