NBA 2k2 (Dreamcast vs PS2) In-Game Comparison
NOTE: My replacement computer isn't that good, so there may be some framerate stuttering, and visual glitches in this vid that aren't there in the original games.
This is a comparison of the actual in-game gameplay of the Dreamcast and PS2 versions of NBA 2K2. I'm not much of a sports game play, so forgive my crappy playing.
This is Visual Concepts' third generation graphics engine on the Dreamcast going up against their first generation PS2 game engine which they ported to the PS2 in six months time.
Overall, the Dreamcast version has a brighter color pallet, and the jerseys look to be slightly more detailed because you can see the little holes in them. Other than that, the PS2 version has beefed up player models, better lighting, and more stuff going on on the sidelines.
NOTE: For this comparison I'm using a S-Video cable for the PS2, and S-Video through the VGA Box for the Dreamcast.
