Nebula Fighter is a one or two player arcade side-scrolling horizontal space shooter with a rudimentary story behind it and game mechanics that have become the norm: shoot your way through every level, destroying as many enemy ships as you can while picking up all the power-ups along the way to make your ship stronger. At the end of every level the player has to fight a unique boss that will drop its weapon when destroyed so the player can pick it up and use it for the next level. Surprisingly, there is also a simultaneous two-player mode with a co-op option hidden in the main options menu.
