Test of just modified NEC PC engine GT with a 3,5" composite screen.
Comparing with 2 stocks GT 2,5" screens.


The test isn't optimum and the 3,5" has advantage because the 2 stocks GT need recap. Screens are not at their best possible performance.


Despite this, the quality obtained in composite with this screen is impressive.


This screen is an CONSOLE 5 one. Used also for modding the SEGA NOMAD.



I made the pcb YUV to CVBS starting from plans from ALTERAC and adapting the assembly to my needs due to curious incompatibilities.

A big thanks to him for this research and the provision of the plans to carry out the modification.
