I prefer the old-school Need For Speed games. I'm not a fan of the modern NFS games and would rather play the Forza Horizon series instead. I did not like the drifting in this game, it didn't feel like the car was sliding, instead the wheels while drifting felt extremely grippy leading to massive oversteer. Driving normally, there seemed to be a bit of lag from when you move the controls to when the car responds, although that might be due to the behind car cameras which feel loose and swayed separately to the car. You don't have to worry about your cornering because the car will go through barriers and trees without any negative effect. Cops were pretty useless, you lose them far too easily. Music playlist cannot be customised at all. Character customisation is awful, while NPC characters look normal, you will only be able to create clown looking characters. I prefer the driving in NFS Most Wanted 2005 and Hot Pursuit 2010, or perhaps try their remakes.
