Yet another reason why I prefer analogue over digital when it comes to PS1 racing games. Maybe it might also have to do with the physics improvements since these are sequels, but the handling feels so much better this way. I'd much rather play V-Rally 2 over it's predecessor any day.

It also looks nice with all the duckstation enhancements, though the draw distance issues become more apparent at high resolutions. Personally, they don't bother me and I doubt they'd bother anyone else either.

Also, switching back to 720p looks a lot better to me. So they really aren't kidding that you don't need as much bitrate at lower resolutions and frame rates. I'm going to stick to this until I upgrade my pc.

Also, likely to be my last comparison video for a while. I think it might be worthwhile to dig into some of these games more instead of the more shallow first stages that I do in these videos. So keep an eye out for more Gran Turismo and Need for Speed PS1 content in the near future. Along with a nice little surprise on our upcoming holiday ;)
