The Sovereign is going to need another stopover. Unexpectedly, Princess Farrah Day is low on power, and Crow had taken so long that Farrah traveled about the ship and drained it of its electricity supplies, requiring one more stopover. The Sovereign is going to need another stopover. Unexpectedly, Princess Farrah Day is low on power, and Crow had taken so long that Farrah traveled about the ship and drained it of its electricity supplies, requiring one more stopover. This time, it's back to the Ogre Kingdom, where he and Farrah go to another area, which the game calls Farrah's Folly.

As you may figure, this is a harder version of the Sukochi stage. It's not the same layout made difficult, per se, but an entirely different layout. Right off the bat, you can see there are fewer platforms, they're spaced out more, and there is a ginormous amount of those mid-air jump panels that lets Crow, well, do mid-air jumps when he's over them. Let me go on to say that the collision detection for those jump panels is totally out of whack, though it's more likely that there is a short time they can't be used once Crow has used one, because annoyingly often, as can be seen in this video, Crow tumbles right through a jump panel and into the bottomless pit/lava below. The most problematic spot is one in which there are rows of them that Crow must use to cross some pretty wide gaps, which have enemies thrown in later on to stun Crow and not let him cross properly while he doesn't really have a way to fight back effectively.

There's also what appears to be a really, really slow ridge down a zipline platform in which you have to punch those purple blocks out of the way. You get the Bonus Stage vinyl record in this section, but I feel like I'm missing something here.

The solace, though, is that there is no boss. Crow and Farrah reach the core without a fight, and when Farrah feeds on the energy for herself, she undergoes a transformation into a more powerful form--perhaps a little TOO powerful. (Seizure warning though. The entire scene, which goes on for a few minute, is constantly flashing red!)

With that out of the way though, we'll move to Crow's Empire. The reason that core was unguarded was because Princess Tephra was away, mounting an attack on Crow's home turf. Apparently, she's taking a slow train to get there, because in the next stage, Crow catches up to it and intercepts it.
