Tetris 99 - Scary Castle
9Well, I can't forget about the annual Halloween upload, now can we? The Luigi's Mansion 3 one, Special Theme 05, is not the only one meant for this time of year. One of the unlockable ones in the 2.0.0 update is too. Here is Scary Castle.
Hopefully I don't get in trouble by picing a song from a Kingdom Hearts game.

If you can't figure out the source of the seemingly random meowing and screams, those are this skin's sounds when you gain incoming garbage blocks. Four or fewer rows yield a cat sound; five or more yield a scream. And really, with some of these big attacks I encountered, a scream is quite an appropriate thing to feel.

I'll tell you this ahead of time: I placed 13th. That's the main reason I chose this one, because it is the absolute most fitting place to ultimately wind up in when everything's done. In general, though, this run was a part of when there were a lot of vicious players, who were evenly distributed among rooms such that there was always one. If you're not a giant yourself, you have to be a giant-killer to place well.

And here is an Invictus match! You know, sooner or later, this would've had to happen. You think you'd get a player icon for this, but no...you have to do it nine more times! That being said, I did it once, and I could do it ten times. Eventually. If I keepplaying for long enough, I guess. Maybe that's a variant to the Infinite Monkey Theorem: keep playing Tetris 99 for long enough, and you'll be able to achieve something ten times.
