As even Hyper Mack was not enough to overcome the Doom Howitzer, Crow was able to overpower all of the other heroes, forcing the governments of the world to submit to him and making him the ruler of the world. A hero needs to win every time. As TV Tropes says, evil only has to win once.

But was this really what Crow wanted? And is it really over for the world? The perspective shifts over to the princesses (and prince), who are sad, more than anything, that they thought they were getting through to Crow, only to find out that he was never on their side or sympathizing with them to begin with. He had a single-minded focus on global domination, and with that achieved, he left them in those crystals forever, a prison where they have no hunger, no need for sleep, and no other sustenance needed. Arguably a fate worse than death.

I mentioned the names that stood out to me at the beginning my coverage of this game, but here are the credits anyway. I can't leave this out, all the hardworking people who helped make this game. As flawed as it was, it was an honest effort all around. It looks like Rosstin Murphy had a character named after him in this game as both a top crowdfunding backer and one of the designers. How does that work? Did he give himself his own paychecks?

But then Mayapple manages to break free of her crystal and escape. It seems she was not able to break the others out of their crystals, but she will lead a resistance movement and take Crow down no matter what.

It can't end like this, can it? Nope, it doesn't have to! My coverage of Nefarious is not over yet--I will show how to reach the Good Ending next! And that's the canon ending, because the webcomib follows from that point.
