Sal tries to give a balanced view of some of the data for and against the ideas he's advocated on the Big Bang and YEC.

Personal faith views are rarely fully supported by professional-grade evidence and theory.

The problems with cosmology are the impracticality of experiments and observations and the intractability of the theoretical equations.

Faith assumptions about each of the competing models abound.

We can't build up our own house by burning down our neighbors, but if a building is standing where we want to build our house, there has to be a demolition operation. Right now the YECs are in demolition mode, not quite in the building mode yet.
