Fantastic game. Music, graphics, and challenge are top notch. 3 lives and you get to continue 3 times for a total of 12 attempts. That seems a bit short particularly how many cheap deaths can occur in stages 4 and 5. Stage 4 had the enemies appear to knock you down pits mid jump so you can't react and the floors drop quickly. Further there seems to be a cool down between jumps or when you turn. Autoscrollers are just horrible by nature. The lava needs you to be close enough to trigger the waterfall and is very long so if you aren't on top of it, you will get hit or crushed in one case. There's a series of pits and conveyors with dropping blocks you just have to know - the blocks are devious, but the pattern in the middle is 1, 2, and 3 so easy to remember. I'd rank this in the Top 150 of games on the NES. It's a $40 game right now so really a borderline if you should add this to your collection.
