[Neural Cloud] Critical Cascade C-19 Hidden Blade - 3 Challenges All Enemies Killed + Hidden Story
C-19, C-20 and C-22 are the 3 hard stages in Critical Cascade. Without challenges, any full 5* team should be able to sweep through. But clearing these stages with 3 challenges is tough. This video shows how you can clear C-19 with 3 challenges on.
For C-19, the 3 challenges are:
- Enemy Atk/Hashrate +50%, HP +123%
- Enemy Damage Boost +15%, Physical/Operand PEN +500
- Lazarus (the first time a non-boss enemy dies, that enemy revives with 50% HP)
The first one is required, the second one can hurt a bit and the third one is awful. Lazarus is a huge pain in the ass.
The easiest trick to clearing C-19 with all 3 challenges is to max out your Survival Strategies. If you have all the non-infinite Strategies maxed, any full 5* team with 1-2 DPS should be able to sweep this stage.
This example clear
- kills every single enemy on the map. It's not required, but uh, I like killing Entropics. Imma wipe out all of them
- obtains the hidden story node on the right side of the map. Why would you do this while clearing 3 challenges? Well, some people might want to clear everything in one run instead of doing 2 separate runs. That's a very valid reason.
You can wipe out every enemy on the map and obtain the hidden story node within 7 rounds. To do this, you will need 2 combat teams. The teams I used are:
Team 1 (Waifu team + Croque):
- 5* Level 70 Vee
- 5* Level 70 Daiyan Arma II
- 5* Level 61 Willow
- 5* Level 61 Persicaria
- 4* Level 60 Croque
Team 2 (Whatever I have left that are kinda raised):
- 4.5* Level 60 Sockdolager
- 4.5* Level 60 Millau
- 4* Level 60 Centaureissi
- 4* Level 60 Mai
- 4* Level 60 Jessie
If you've played enough Neural Cloud, you will know that this is truly wtf teambuilding. And that's the point: with enough Strategies, any decent team clears C-19 with 3 challenges.
The tactic is for Team 1 to take most fights + take all 4 Odile fights (yes you have to fight Odile 4 times in this map), and Team 2 takes a few select fights. The hardest part is for Team 2 to survive the 2 pursuit fights on the end of Round 3. If you run a better team than what I had, you should be fine.
All of the fancy orange functions goes to Team 1, and Team 2 takes some blue functions to survive the pursuit attacks on Round 3 End.
Odile herself is not that hard. She does a few things:
- Summons a bunch of Entropic enemies. Use some AoE to kill those. Clukay makes use of these summons very well to deal big damage onto Odile herself
- Flies up in the air and starts throwing feather blades at one of your dolls. Targeting is random, and these blades pierce through all dolls. Therefore, spread out your dolls and not put them in a straight line with Odile. When she's airborne, only ranged units (and Vee) can hit her. Therefore, make sure your team has at least 1 ranged unit.
The first Odile fight is the hardest one. If you can clear the first Odile fight, the orange function you obtain will make the second Odile fight much easier. As you stack more functions, the third and fourth Odile fights get progressively easier.
In case you're wondering, yes, in Odile 4, she managed to use her feather blades with 1 HP remaining. Truly a kekw moment
