[Neural Cloud] Critical Cascade C-19 Hidden Blade - 3 Challenges 1 Combat 1 Dummy Minimal Fights
C-19, C-20 and C-22 are the 3 hard stages in Critical Cascade. Without challenges, any full 5* team should be able to sweep through. But clearing these stages with 3 challenges is tough. This video shows how you can clear C-19 with 3 challenges on.
For C-19, the 3 challenges are:
- Enemy Atk/Hashrate +50%, HP +123%
- Enemy Damage Boost +15%, Physical/Operand PEN +500
- Lazarus (the first time a non-boss enemy dies, that enemy revives with 50% HP)
The first one is required, the second one can hurt a bit and the third one is awful. Lazarus is a huge pain in the ass.
The easiest trick to clearing C-19 with all 3 challenges is to max out your Survival Strategies. If you have all the non-infinite Strategies maxed, any full 5* team with 1-2 DPS should be able to sweep this stage.
In my previous video, I killed every enemy with 2 combat teams: https://youtu.be/ZRySCkAe-T8
However, maybe you don't have enough raised dolls to field two combat teams. Or even worse, your first team is mostly made out of dolls below 5*. In that case, you may not be able to replicate the full clear run that I did.
Does this mean you won't be able to clear the 3 challenges? Hell no. In fact, this video is the minimal version for you to try! This example clear:
- only takes the required fights. All optional fights are ignored
- uses 1 combat team and 1 AP dummy
- clears the stage in 5 rounds. Remember that with every passing round, enemies gain more stats. Therefore, it will be easier if you clear the stage with as few rounds as possible
I used my waifu team + Croque as my combat team. It consists of:
- 5* Level 70 Vee
- 5* Level 70 Daiyan Arma II
- 5* Level 61 Willow
- 5* Level 61 Persicaria
- 4* Level 60 Croque
With only 1 combat team, you will need to make smarter AP decisions. If you can't figure out how, use this video as reference to learn some nifty AP tricks. The benefits to using 1 combat team is that:
- you can dump all your obtained functions onto your only combat team. This allows you to easily hyperbuff your combat team to sweep
- the AP dummy can be used to purchase stuff from the shop. You can then obtain more functions, more cache modules to expand function slots and/or fancy protocols to help you in combat
Odile herself is not that hard. She does a few things:
- Summons a bunch of Entropic enemies. Use some AoE to kill those. Clukay makes use of these summons very well to deal big damage onto Odile herself
- Flies up in the air and starts throwing feather blades at one of your dolls. Targeting is random, and these blades pierce through all dolls. Therefore, spread out your dolls and not put them in a straight line with Odile. When she's airborne, only ranged units (and Vee) can hit her. Therefore, make sure your team has at least 1 ranged unit.
The first Odile fight is the hardest one. If you can clear the first Odile fight, the orange function you obtain will make the second Odile fight much easier. As you stack more functions, the third and fourth Odile fights get progressively easier.
If you're still struggling to clear this with 1 dedicated combat team, you can consider running 2 separate attempts with 2 challenges instead. Attempt 1 will have Challenges 1 and 2, and Attempt 2 will have Challenges 1 and 3.
If you still can't do it, then uhhh...raise your dolls faster. Or stack more Strategies.
