[Neural Cloud] Critical Cascade C-22 Dreamlike - 3 Challenges 1 Combat 2 AP Dummies Minimal Fights
C-19, C-20 and C-22 are the 3 hard stages in Critical Cascade. Without challenges, any full 5* team should be able to sweep through. But clearing these stages with 3 challenges is tough. This video shows how you can clear C-22 with 3 challenges on.
For C-22, the 3 challenges are:
- Enemy Atk/Hashrate +58%, HP +148%
- Enemy Damage Boost +20%, Physical/Operand PEN +600
- Enemy Life Steal +20%
The first one is required, the second and third ones are pretty annoying to add on.
If you need to watch this video to learn how to clear C-22 with 3 challenges, you probably will need all non-infinite Survival Strategies maxed at the very minimum. If possible, stack some of the infinite +Atk or +Crit Dmg. Every extra bit of damage helps here.
In my previous video, I killed every enemy with 2 combat teams: https://youtu.be/4aI5jsywZQQ
However, maybe you don't have enough raised dolls to field two combat teams. Or even worse, your first team is mostly made out of dolls below 5*. In that case, you may not be able to replicate the full clear run that I did.
Does this mean you won't be able to clear the 3 challenges? Hell no. In fact, this video is the minimal version for you to try! This example clear:
- only takes the required fights. All optional fights are ignored
- uses 1 combat team and 2 AP dummies
- clears the stage in 6 rounds. Remember that with every passing round, enemies gain more stats. Therefore, it will be easier if you clear the stage with as few rounds as possible
I used my waifu team as my combat team. It consists of:
- 5* Level 70 Vee
- 5* Level 70 Daiyan Arma II
- 5* Level 61 Willow
- 5* Level 61 Persicaria
- 4.5* Level 60 Millau
With only 1 combat team, you will need to make smarter AP decisions. If you can't figure out how, use this video as reference to learn some nifty AP tricks. The benefits to using 1 combat team is that:
- you can dump all your obtained functions onto your only combat team. This allows you to easily hyperbuff your combat team to sweep
- the AP dummies can be used to purchase stuff from the shop. You can then obtain more functions, more cache modules to expand function slots and/or fancy protocols to help you in combat
The map design wants you to avoid fighting the pursuing Advanced enemies. However, this is a Mica game. We kill everything in Mica games. But since this is a minimal fights clear, we will avoid the pursuing enemies as much as we can. You will not be able to avoid all of the pursuing Advanced enemies. As far as I can tell, you will need to fight at least 2 of the pursuing Advanced enemies to be able to get through to the end. One of them is on Round 5 (19:10) and the other one is at the end of Round 5 (21:20).
Since you are not fighting most of the Advanced enemies, you will need to use the shop often. Stack up on good functions to power up your combat team, so that they can clear a path to the end. If your combat team does not have enough functions, you may find yourself struggling in the later rounds.
If you're still struggling to clear this with 1 dedicated combat team, you can consider running 2 separate attempts with 2 challenges instead. Attempt 1 will have Challenges 1 and 2, and Attempt 2 will have Challenges 1 and 3.
If you still can't do it, then uhhh...raise your dolls faster. Or stack more Strategies.
