In this video, a bunch of us decide to and hunt MEs for the Despair boss.
Things you need to know;
1. As of this video, OP cleanse is the only cleanse that CONSISTENTLY cleanses green chains that explode boss' shield.
2. In order to get the green chain to proc more often, you need at least 3 people to be within melee range on the boss.
3. The red chain will have dot dmg and you should NOT heal until it goes away
4. At 50% hp and below, the boss will summon shades that do IBS on you which usually one-shots. Avoid at all costs by dragging it away from the boss as they are slow and using anti stuns like Oghma's artifact or swarm mount ability.
5. Try not to proc Runic bane debuffs before attempting this boss. This can be easily avoided by letting tanks set them off on purpose by being at the vanguard of the party and the rest backs off.
