The third of three new single-room accommodation blocks has been officially handed over to the military at RAF Akrotiri. As part of the project SLAM initiative to upgrade forces housing, each room is designed for individual occupation and comes completes with en-suite facilities. There are also communal facilities. The accommodation will be used by service personnel permanently based at Akrotiri. The building was officially unveiled by Station Commander, Group Captain Barrie Thompson.
