NEW Blizzard Apology EXPOSES Even WORSE 'PR Nightmare' At Blizzcon 2019...
Blizzard president J. Allen Brack issued one of the weakest 'apologies' in video game history with his 'I'm sorry' non apology at Blizzcon 2019.
No mention of Hong Kong, Blitzchung, or China. Lip service to get a cheer and the gamers have now moved on to the games Diablo IV and OverWatch 2, even though no release dates have officially been announced for either... This was a bad look and it's getting worse...Now Blizzard has issued a copyright strike against YongYea for his coverage of the event. Apparently 'Every Voice Matters' is just a figure of... speech.
UPDATE on Yongyea tweet:
"Turns out @Blizzard_Ent prohibited streaming of panels beyond the opening ceremony, which I didn't know about, so that was likely the cause for the video's copyright strike, which I concede. I could just edit that part out though via YouTube's editing feature if they'd let me..."
...Not that this 'justification' is any better, though.
