Even though there was only one new game announced during the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Celebration, that doesn't mean they aren't working on more.

Shinji Hashimoto, the man who is essentially in charge of the Final Fantasy brand, has now confirmed that the Opening Ceremony was just the start, and that there are more Final Fantasy titles in production!

He stopped short of saying anything specific about those titles, but it's positive news to hear that there will potentially be more announcements throughout the year relating to new Final Fantasy games!

Will it be Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy X-3, Final Fantasy Type-Next or something completely new? Who knows, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!
